Job Summary:

The iOS Developer must possess a passion for pushing mobile technologies and social applications to the limits and will work with our team of talented engineers and developers to design and build the next generation of mobile applications.  The Developer must have a strong understanding of the patterns and practices that revolve around the iOS platform. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design and the creation of quality products is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design and develop applications for the iOS platform.
  • Ensure the performance, quality and responsiveness of applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks, work on bug fixing and improving performance.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization.
  • Develop applications for time-sensitive projects while considering business/system requirements.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  • Continually learn about new programming languages, operating system updates and other information that will affect the functions of applications in development.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
  • Proven working experience in software development.
  • Working experience in iOS development.
  • Have published one or more iOS apps in the store
  • Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologies.
  • Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
  • Excellent ability to develop and understand algorithms.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like SVN.
  • Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools.
  • Experience with threading and performance tuning.
